This is a love story between a professor and a policewoman. Their dating experience is enhanced with sense and sensibility through the application of interesting physics theories on the investigation of various crime cases.

KING POK (Raymond Lam) is regarded as the youngest genius in physics and he is appointed as an associate professor in a Hong Kong university. Invited by his good friend LO TIN-HANG (Kenneth Ma), Senior Inspector of Police at Regional Crime Unit, POK assists in cracking many mysterious crime cases and he also meets the policewoman CHUI SIU-LAI (Tavia Yeung) during the process. The rational POK evaluates that he has fallen in love with LAI because of a love hormone called “phenylalanine”. However, owing to the huge difference in their family background and life value, POK fails to tackle their ever-changing relationship problems with formulas.

On the other hand, the romantic and uninhibited HANG has been maintaining a sex only relationship with the journalist LING MAN-KA (Bernice Liu) HANG doesn’t believe in eternity and he is only looking for sensual pleasure in a woman. However, his belief is suddenly shattered when he learns that MAN is going to get married.

PO CHUNG-LING (Steven Ma) was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright, his father, PO POON (Yueh Hua), has therefore always hoped that he could one day carry on the family business. LING, mistakenly thinks that POON is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, KO JIT (Chan Kam Hung), is a constable and he hates corrupt officials as much as LING does. Rumor has it that a fox spirit is creating troubles in Jinan. LING is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with JIT. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named LING WU SIU-TSUI (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves LING so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, TSUI starts to fall for LING.

The PO family has secured a large order of New Year print. To ensure the work can be finished in time they have to hire a large numbers of female workers. LAU SUM-YU (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with LING and JIT…

Phim đề cập đến cô gái tên Lam, là một tiểu thư giàu có, ngang ngược và kiêu căng. Cùng với sắc đẹp hiếm có là một khu resort hạng sang ở Nha Trang do cha mẹ cô để lại.

Dưới sự quản lý của cô chủ nhỏ thừa đam mê ca hát, mua sắm nhưng thiếu kỹ năng quản lý, khu resort nhanh chóng có nguy cơ phá sản.

Để cứu vãn gia tài bạc tỷ và thỏa nguyện ước mộng làm ca sĩ – dù chỉ một ngày, Lam lên kế hoạch tổ chức một live show ca nhạc từ thiện hoành tráng, được truyền hình trực tiếp cả nước với sự tham gia của nhiều ngôi sao ca nhạc. Tuy nhiên, sự non kém của Lam đã bị các bầu show dỏm lừa, không tìm ra một “sao” nào cho đêm ca nhạc.

Không thể hủy bỏ buổi biểu diễn đã được thông tin rộng rãi, Lam liều mạng tổ chức một live show “cây nhà lá vườn” với các ca sĩ là nhân viên khu resort. Trong lúc lao đao, may mắn là cô cũng mời được một nhóm hát có tên tuổi U4 tham gia.

Sự hợp tác giữa những ngôi sao thứ thiệt và những “sao” ngang hông liệu có làm nên một live show hoành tráng? Câu trả lời sẽ được đạo diễn Nguyễn Quang Dũng bật mí khi phim chính thức khởi quay.

Nội dung: Trong thời đại nhà Minh, Hoàng đế Trung Hoa sở hữu một vũ khí vĩ đại và nguy hiểm hơn bất cứ thứ gì khác – đó là đội Cẩm Y Vệ – một đội thị vệ có thanh thế. Đội Cẩm Y Vệ này thu gom và bí mật huấn luyện những đứa trẻ mồ côi không nơi nương tựa ngoài đường. Chúng được dạy dỗ từ nhỏ, và trở thành những tay sát thủ sử dụng thông thạo 14 Lưỡi dao – 8 lưỡi dùng cho việc tra tấn kẻ thù, 5 lưỡi dùng để giết và lưỡi dao cuối cùng dùng để tự sát khi nhiệm vụ không thành.

Đội Cẩm Y Vệ không phải tuân theo pháp luật, có quyền giết người mà không cần hỏi trước, và hiến dâng cả cuộc đời của mình để phục vụ Hoàng đế.
